Marsha Ooley Williams

I have remained in Escondido since birth - imagine that! Married Richard in 1970 (and still happy about it), who was a pastor at Emmanuel Faith Community Church (where I grew up) until he retired in 2006, due to Parkinson Disease (a slow progression, thankfully). We raised 2 boys who are still in the area, who got married to girls we love and have given us 4 beautiful grandchildren, of course!

Over the years, I have enjoyed being a pastor's wife and mom and now as of 2005, a "Nana". I still consider myself a "people person" and have enjoyed mentoring and counseling women and teaching from my favorite book - the Bible!

And yes, I am still a happy person, though it often feels more like a deep appreciation of life as a result of challenges.

My oldest school age friend is Sandy Burge Page, who I met at Central School in 3rd grade! Going to a large church over the years, I still am in contact with people from our class.

I have been surprised that I don't run into more people I knew from EHS! Or maybe, I have and don't recognize you??
